Sports Trivia Night

Atlanta will be hosting soccer’s biggest event this summer. Test your knowledge about the game — and other sports — in a trivia contest. The AJC’s Tyler Estep and AJ Willingham are hosting, with an assist from Dirty South Trivia. The evening includes two free drink tickets and giveaways from Atlanta United and Decatur FC. Subscribers are encouraged to bring their own team of two to four participants. (Teams must include at least one AJC subscriber.)

She is an Emmy, NABJ and Webby award-winning journalist who loves talking culture, religion, sports, social justice, infrastructure and the arts.

Tyler Estep

Tyler Estep hosts the AJC Win Column, Atlanta's new weekly destination for all things sports. He also shepherds the Sports Daily and Braves Report newsletters to your inbox. The Gwinnett County native and University of Georgia grad is a 10-year veteran of the AJC, also having written the A.M. ATL newsletter and served in a variety of reporting roles.

Monti Carlo

Monti Carlo is the AJC’s Senior Editor for Food & Dining. She is also a two-time Telly Award winner and a judge for the James Beard Foundation. Her first time working in a restaurant kitchen was here in metro Atlanta at Stoney River in Roswell. Since then, she has built a career focused on culinary storytelling — writing for leading food publications and working with Netflix, Food Network, Cooking Channel, PBS and Tastemade. It was a 2001 review from the AJC that helped keep her family's restaurant from closing its doors. She considers her move back to Atlanta to work for the AJC the most full-circle moment of her 26-year media career.
