Join us for an exclusive member-only virtual conversation about what's now and next for Black culture, with UATL and AJC team members, and Senator Raphael Warnock

The Contaminated Documentary Screening

Join The Atlanta Journal‑Constitution and FRONTLINE for a special screening of Contaminated: The Carpet Industry's Toxic Legacy, a documentary that looks at how chemical pollution connected to the carpet industry in North Georgia affected local communities, raising important questions about environmental responsibility, accountability, and daily life.

Hosted at the historic DeSoto Theatre, the evening centers on a powerful film that sheds light on how industrial practices have affected communities, waterways, and lives across the region.

This documentary is part of a sweeping months-long investigative effort, “Forever Stained: The South’s Carpet Empire and the Chemicals that Don’t Go Away,” from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Post and Courier in South Carolina, AL.com in Alabama, FRONTLINE (PBS) and The Associated Press.

Space is limited and entry is first come, first served. RSVP is encouraged but does not guarantee entry.
